As your Couples Coach, I am dedicated to helping you navigate challenges with compassion and research-based practices. Through The Work of Byron Katie and the Gottman Method, we’ll  uncover insights that inspire growth and connection.​ With over a decade of experience, I’m honored to support your journey toward clarity, peace of mind, and personal growth.

I am certified as a Facilitator of The Work of Byron Katie (Institute for the Work), a Positivity Coach (Positivity Global Coaching), trained in the Gottman Method (Gottman Institute, online), and a Wellness Counselor (eCornell University). Originally from Germany, I came to the US to earn a doctorate in piano performance.

The Work of Byron Katie and the Gottman Method are a great combination of hands-on tools that aim to deepen understanding, improve communication, and strengthen your connection. In my work with couples, I regularly see that profound transformation is possible—and I’m here to support you in this process.

Communication

It is very common that couples experience challenges with communication. We will work on understanding each other's perspectives, and introduce skills to express yourselves more clearly in order to resolve conflicts more effectively.

Trust Issues in Relationships

Experiencing a lack of trust can be very difficult in any relationship. We will approach your challenges with empathy and care, using the Gottman Method and the Work of Byron Katie to cultivate a more trusting relationship. With dedication and support, rebuilding trust is possible!

Growth Mindset versus Negativity Bias

Up to 80% of the 60,000 thoughts we think every day are negative.

The tendency of our minds towards negativity (negativity bias) aims to protect us, identify and avoid danger, and make sure we don’t miss a possible threat. Developing a positive mindset can help us see learning opportunities, support psychological and physical well-being, and can also improve our work-life and health.

Understanding the Mind

The Work of Byron Katie is an amazing tool to understand the mind by questioning assumptions, beliefs, and stressful thoughts. Looking at everything from all possible angles can open your mind to new perspectives and a deepened understanding. Couples I work with typically find new clarity and also experience insights about themselves and their partner.

Transforming Negative Self-Talk

What is negative self-talk costing you? What may be possible if you wouldn't put yourself down? The Work of Byron Katie invites you to identify and challenge the beliefs behind your inner critic, making it possible to have a kinder perspective of yourself.
